Steeplechase is a great place to live

Located in the Town of Westport, just outside Madison and Waunakee WISCONSIN. We're less than a 30 minute drive to either East Towne and West Towne malls in Madison. We're also an easy drive to the many surrounding small communities in rural Dane County. The Village of Waunakee is just minutes away where there is shopping, a variety of restaurants and schools.

We're located north of Lake Mendota about a mile north of County Highway M and just outside Waunakee. See Google Maps.

Clubhouse

We have a clubhouse that is available to our residents and for Association meetings.

Parks and green space

Our 59 homes and clubhouse are set on about five and a half acres of land.
We are adjacent to Dane County Park's Waakikižu Natural Resource Area, which once was a horse stable and riding farm and is now set aside for protection of its valuable natural environment.
For picnics, families and kids, the Town of Westport has Steeplechase Park at our south entrance. There is a combo rock climb/slide, swings, a gazebo and park benches.
Governor Nelson State Park is 2.6 miles and located on Lake Mendota

Recreation and Health

Paths along Woodland Drive provide for walking and jogging into Waunakee or adjacent neighborhoods. Woodland Drive also has bicycle lanes in each direction to connect to the Village or to County Trunk M.
